SistahSpeak This Sunday + Show Me Equality "Love Bus"

Hello Family! Hope all of you have started your week off with greatness as your sole intent!
On Friday, March 12, 2010, my now Wife and I were blessed and honored to be part of the third historic "Marriage Bus" to Iowa City, IA (we just commemorated our one month anniversary!). Please join with SistahSpeak as we celebrate the ongoing "Marriage Equality Bus Project" by pledging financial support to help defray the travel costs associated with completing this journey for many more same sex couples on Friday, May 7, 2010. We would like to ask that you bring a little extra on Sunday, April 18th when you come to enjoy the hypest open mic in the LOU. Donations will be accepted at the door throughout the night. Of course, we ask that you give what you can, but, please, do dig sightly deeper and perhaps sacrifice that extra latte or cappucino stash in the "special" zippered/buttoned pocket. Our community is asking your involvement in an extremely important endeavor- be the change you want to see; this little means a lot. 4/18/10 SistahSpeak Open Mic with Special Guest Blue 8pm

Hello Family! Yeah, I know, its been a minute.  In our absence from one another last month, I missed all of you.  I hope you've already begun to see this Spring as the time of renewal and refreshing it is meant to be.  Take this motivation from Nature and "clean your closets" - physically and spiritually.  Take inventory of where and who you are in your Purpose.  Remove from your life those things that you no longer use or need-make charitable donations where applicable, trash where necessary; end those relationships that no longer provide positive energy-set them, and yourself, free to begin anew.  See yourself as "a new creature" in the Universe, reborn and intent on re-establishing your place on this journey.  Celebrate living by really living it!
As we gather this month for SistahSpeak, we welcome you to bring new and old friends alike to help us revel in the incredible talent the Lou has to offer.  Our Springtime refreshing begins with the experience of "Blue"-singer, songwriter, and musician! This multifaceted artist has graced our stage on numerous occasions and never failed to bless us with her witty, original lyrics.  If you've seen and heard her perform anywhere in the LOU, you know this is a show not to miss...  If you have yet to know who she is, this is not a show to miss!
Remember, this doesn't work without you...We need your participation in the open mic!
