On Friday, March 12, 2010, my now Wife and I were blessed and honored to be part of the third historic "Marriage Bus" to Iowa City, IA (we just commemorated our one month anniversary!). Please join with SistahSpeak as we celebrate the ongoing "Marriage Equality Bus Project" by pledging financial support to help defray the travel costs associated with completing this journey for many more same sex couples on Friday, May 7, 2010. We would like to ask that you bring a little extra on Sunday, April 18th when you come to enjoy the hypest open mic in the LOU. Donations will be accepted at the door throughout the night. Of course, we ask that you give what you can, but, please, do dig sightly deeper and perhaps sacrifice that extra latte or cappucino stash in the "special" zippered/buttoned pocket.
